Dear Sir or Madam,
It has come to my attention that your network plans to air a documentary made by the man found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson entitled, “Michael Jackson and the Doctor—A Fatal Friendship.”
I am utterly disgusted and appalled that your network would consider affiliating itself with a convicted felon who
demonstrated utter disregard for the life and wellbeing of his patient. Murray's utter recklessness was made plain in the preliminary hearings with the presentation of several appallingly damning facts.
Let us consider if this were one of our cherished family members. How would we feel seeing their name ruthlessly exploited each new day, making the process of grieving impossible to overcome, if we saw them mocked, vilified and undermined: the man who tore them mercilessly from the world seeking to profit of of the extinguishing of their life.
Please, in the name of human decency and honour remember a mother who is left with only memories of a cherished son and children who can never again hear their father’s voice calling their names.
Throughout his life, Mr.Jackson was exploited and undermined, seen merely as a rung on the ladder to profit and recognition by others. I ask you to end this vile trend and help restore the rights of humanity to one so human, so considerate and caring.-A man who was perhaps the greatest humanitarian we will ever witness in our lifetime.
Please allow him justice, please allow him rest, please allow him peace.
After all this man endured, the world owes him at least that.
Sincerely,
