In 1988, artist Jeff Koons designed a statue called 'Michael Jackson and Bubbles'. The statue is held in gold and white and meassures 42 x 70 1/2 x 32 1/2 inches.
It is included in the 'Jasper Johns to Jeff Koons: Four Decades of Art from the Broad Collections' exhibition, which is currently touring the USA. Until January 6, 2002 it could be seen at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). From tomorrow, March 16, it will be at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and remains there until June 3. The last station of the exhibition in the USA will be at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from July 21 to October 20, 2002.
A European tour is planned but no dates have been released yet.
