On January 16 another candlelight vigil for Michael took place in Las Vegas, USA. Here's a report and some photos from the organizer Farah:
Hi everyone, this is a short report of my Candlelight Vigil in Vegas, on Jan 16th,2004. I would like to tell you that my Candlelight Vigil, was very good. We were all together 30 Fans. [...]
I found out few days ago that I won't be able to come to LA. So I decided to put a Candlelight Vigil all by myself with the help of my family. So I contacted the City for the permision, and I contacted all the TV and Radio Stations, and news papers.
I put that in front of a beautiful elementary school, in the park. With my husband we provided food and beverages, candles and posters, and Michael's music.
6 TV stations, 2 news papers, and 2 radio station were there. I wish you could see it. Julie's voice teacher came and with her help we could sing slogan and song together. 2 Helicopters were flying above our head. [...] I hope that is making you happy.
