Court TV Anchor and Host of "Hollywood at Large™" Diane Dimond Joins America's #1 Morning Show as a Regular Analyst
HOLLYWOOD--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 8, 2004-- Court TV® and NBC's Today have reached an agreement for Court TV's news-breaking anchor Diane Dimond to join the morning show as an analyst covering the Michael Jackson case. Dimond, the host of Court TV's Hollywood at Large, begins her reports for Today immediately.
"As one of our top-rated investigative journalists, Diane Dimond will bring to Today exclusive access to the insightful and shrewd reporting that she brings to Hollywood at Large," said Art Bell, President and COO, Court TV.
"As celebrity legal cases, like Michael Jackson's, progress -- Diane's experience and talents will be a tremendous asset to our coverage," said Tom Touchet, Executive Producer of "Today." "She's going to help us stay first, comprehensive, and up-to-the-minute as this case proceeds."
Dimond was the first to report that Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch was being raided, that Jackson was about to be arrested, and that multiple counts of child molestation were to be filed against him. She was also the first to report the 1993 child molestation allegations against Jackson. Dimond, who was named host of Hollywood at Large on November 24, has been with Court TV since 2001, where she has served as a contributing anchor and regular guest-host for Catherine Crier Live.
