"In the war of words raging between Michael Jackson and Thomas Mottola it seems that the wind is turning in favor for the eccentric mutli platinum singer. My recent meeting with one executive working at Sony music in Paris (who asked for staying anonymous), fed my greedy envy to know more about the feud that has been openly publicized since jacko portrayed Thomas d Mottola as a racist, a very "devilish" guy.
The exec told me that his (Mottola's) "boss" in new york was under high pressure from the top to clarify the situation. They asked him to show up publicly and denounce Jacko's attitude that is damaging Sony's image. When I asked the exec what was wrong, who was right, i was highly surprised for the revelation he gave me :
"Michael Jackson's new album, Invincible, was our biggest hope and it all of a sudden became our last priority ... the album is good, it's great music and could have sold like breads with good singles, videos and tv spots" ... Going on with the conversation, he then revealed me that Mottola even refused Jacko's demand for having pics of missing children (with the proper agreement of their parents) inside his booklet, that one has to admit is poorly pictural comparing the Dangerous cd's one or even the History cd's one. The idea of putting those pics came in the same time "The Lost Children" song was composed. It's a kind of "heal the world" arrangement song and is as emotional as the target it was aimed at. In days where America is looking for his "lost children" (Elizabeth Smart's case, a small missing girl taken from home while sleeping, has become a huge media turnoil across the Atlantic), giving a hand in the search process by spreading that missing kids's pics inside an album's booklet would have probably save a lot ...
Music, sometimes can heal but today's selfish attitude by major corporate mafiosos like Mottola turns it into a circus where the clowns sadly make fun of their own publics... "
