Dear Michael Jackson fans and supporters of fair justice,
Since the news broke of a new investigation into Michael Jackson, numerous journalists have presented a biased view of the case. Many reporters have only sought information from the accusers side and appear to have no interest in interviewing any persons that wish to discredit the allegation or the accusers. Certain journalists have not attempted to question the viability of the allegations or the possible motives behind them. Some members of the media, such as Diane Diamond, openly correspond with the accusers legal team.
This type of journalism is unfair and unethical. It is a breach of human rights to condemn a person without giving them freedom of speech. We as citizens of the world and fans of Michael Jackson need to voice our concern on the use of these unfair reporting stratergies, which the media frequently use to manipulate public perception.
Our mission is to gather hundreds of people outside the Superior Court of Santa Barbara on January 9th 2004. We will unite to demonstrate against the mis-conduct shown by the media and the accusers legal team in the handling of Michael Jacksons case. It is so important that any fan considering the trip should be encouraged to go. Michael needs YOUR support.
Within the next few days a web site will be opened to assist anyone who wants to make the trip. The web site will list cheap flight companies, cheap travel insurance, budget accommodation and cheap car hire companies. We are also working on providing buses to transport fans from LA to the suggested motels in Buellton, Solvang or Lompoc (and back again). A bus may also be provided on the day of the court case to transport fans from their motel to the Superior Court and back. These projects are being undertaken in an effort to make the trip as cheap and hassle free as possible for all. Stand by for the release of the web site address!
