MICHAEL JACKSON TO ATTEND MJNI PARTY

On 15th June 2002, MJ News International present an afternoon of entertainment to celebrate 20 Years of Thriller: THE KILLER THRILLER PARTY.

Michael Jackson will be in attendance at the party. The venue is the Hippodrome, Leicester Square, London.

Prior to the party, a large demonstration of fan support is being held by MJ News International as a surprise for Michael Jackson, who is in London on 15th June on private business. For the reasons behind the demo - which is organised with full support from Angel, Planet Jackson and over 30 other Fan Clubs around the world, please visit;

The plan is for the demo to include a march to Sony Music in Great Marlborough Street. From there, the march will lead directly to the Hippodrome. After the party, fans are encouraged to take their banners to Michael's hotel (location to be announced).

Party: Ticket information and a full itinerary for the day will follow shortly.

Demo: We need to know how many fans are planning to attend the demo in order to inform the police. Please email mjnisubs@btinternet.com if you are planning on attending the demo, which we anticipate to start around mid-day.

Vaya pedazo de fiesta de cumpleaños que me ha preparado Michael!! :D El unico inconveniente es que no me paga el billete de avion ni el Hotel, pero seguro que alli me felicita en persona...:cool:

Lo curioso es que voy a ser yo el que le lleve un regalo a Él en vez de El a mi.... Bueno, su regalo ha sido que el dia de mi cumple le vea y con mucha suerte poder decirle algo.:D

Joder!! justo en medio de los exámenes finales....que mala fecha... tengo exámenes los días 6, 10, 13, 18, 21 y 25!!! se podría intentar....pero menudo desastre de exámenes que me esperarían porque a ver quien puede estudiar pensando en un viaje a ver a MICHAEL JACKSON!!!

Tengo que pensarlo muy seriamente.....Ya estoy imaginándome las caras de mis padres cuando les plantee mi intención :eek: :cool:

Jacko For London's Thriller Celebrations?




Michael Jackson is to apparently set to attend a party in London next month, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his record-breaking Thriller album.

According to a Jacko fansite, The Killer Thriller Party will take place at London's Hippodrome on June 15th. At this stage, it's unclear whether the self-proclaimed King Of Pop will actually perform on the day or merely just show his face, by way of thanks to his staunch fans.

Prior to the party, thousands of fans are planning to stage a peaceful demonstration which will call at Sony Records' offices. Fans believe Sony sabotaged the success of Jackson's last album, Invincible, so that they could force the star to sell his remaining 50 percent share of The Beatles' song catalogue.

While Invincible debuted at No. 1 on the UK album chart last year, its sales plummeted downwards soon after. In addition, Jacko's Cry single failed to break the Top 20 last Christmas plus plans for the release of the track Unbreakable have been shelved.

Jackson fans to protest in the streets of London
Fans of Michael Jackson have organised a campaign against Sony Music in the UK next month.

They claim the record label has failed to properly promote his latest album Invincible.

Protesting fans will gather on the steps of Sony Music Headquarters in London on June 15.

Last month, members of Michael Jackson fan clubs held a demo in New York.

Supporters of the singer have already been campaigning by sending emails to Sony, faxing black paper to their offices and blocking Sony telephone call centres.

They say Jackson's new single Unbreakable has received little airplay in the UK because of the under-promotion of Invincible.

Demonstrations will also take place in Switzerland and Italy on May 18, Holland on June 8 and the US on June 13.

Es uno de los mejores clubes del mundo y su nombre viene de cuando era el hipodromo de la ciudad... se comenzó a utilizar como recinto de espectáculos en el año 1900 :eek:

El mismisimo Charles Chaplin actuó por primera vez en este local cuando solo tenía 11 años. Mas tarde, en 1931 presentó su peli "City Lights" y ha tenido conciertos memorables como el de Tina Turner.

Durante los 70 se llamó The Talk of the Town y fue visitado por The Jacksons. En el verano del 88 durante el Bad Tour, Janet hizo varias actuaciones en el local, pero pasó bastante desapercibida...

Yo me estaba pensando ir, pero en cuanto miré mi calendario de exámenes me di cuenta de que me va a ser imposible. Justo tengo el exámen más largo y chungo al martes siguiente, la putada es que si Michael fuera a londres tan sólo una semana más tarde, no tendría problema ninguno en ir porque los exámenes son más fáciles y me pillan más separados...

Qué bajón!! :(

Al menos me alegra que la mayoría de vosotros podáis ir, Darkness, ya estás tardando en confirmar tu presencia!! ;)
