LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Jennifer Love Hewitt ("Heartbreakers," "The Audrey Hepburn Story" ), Grammy Award-winning musician Shaggy and Sugar Ray's lead singer Mark McGrath have been tapped to host "The 2002 World Music Awards" on ABC.
Many of the recording industries hottest stars will perform at the show, including Alicia Keys, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Ja Rule, Kylie Minogue, Shaggy, Andrea Bocellie, Enya, Destiny's Child and O-Town. Additionally, disco queen Gloria Geynor will receive the Legend Award for lifetime achievement.
This is the tenth year that ABC has aired the awards show. In celebration of its tenth anniversary, there will be a special presentation showcasing some of the past years' best musical performances, including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Cher.
The event is seen worldwide in more than 160 countries and is presented under the patronage of Prince Albert of Monaco.
