LATEST NEWS
*Earlier this month we reported that New York radio station KTU had
began playing "What More Can I Give?" on their playlist and that
people were calling requesting the song and enquiring about whether
it would be released as a single.
New reports from KTU state that a number of New York area radio
stations have asked how they could get the song for their own
station's playlists, a request that KTU's Program Director says he's
likely to grant.
Program Director Frankie Blue, told MSNBC that the audience reaction
to the song "has been incredibly, overwhelmingly positive" and he
hopes that other radio stations will "steal" the song from KTU and
play it, too. "This is a mega musical event. "It's We Are The World
II...This is a record that should have never been shelved." Although
no one is talking about how WMCIG has gotten onto the KTU playlist,
Blue insists that Michael had nothing to do with it.
* Earlier this month rumors began spreading about Michael taking part
in a deal that could result in him owning another recording label,
now further deatils have been released about the new recording deal
that Michael is apparently working on for Neverland Records:
In an exclusive interview to MJNI, a source close to the deal said
that although a contract has not yet been signed with Clive
Davis' 'run J records', BMG is expected to make things official by
the end of 2002.
According to MJNI, "Tentatively titled Neverland Records, Michael's
new label will be a subsidiary of J, similar to how MJJ Music was set
up under Epic Records. Neverland will sign acts and record music (all
with the help of uber producer Rodney Jerkins) but all promotional
activity (including radio and retail) will be handled by J Records
executives and staff. BMG, which distributes all of J's products,
will also handle Neverland's distribution. And yes, Michael's next
recording, to follow the release of an upcoming greatest hits package
from Sony, will indeed be a Neverland Records product..."
Please note that no official statments have been made regarding this
new project, and further details are still pending.
* Film director Brett Ratner (Red Dragon) revealed recently that
Michael has asked him to direct the short film for 'Invincible',
which Ratner says will be the next single from the 'Invincible' album.
"Michael Jackson has asked me to do his new video, so I'm hoping I
can fit it in before I start production on 'Superman'. We're good
friends. [sings]'You are not alone!' The new single is
called 'Invincible'. Kind of like 'Dangerous'...but actually I'm
going to put Michael Jackson for sure into 'Rush Hour 3'. What Joe
Pesci was to 'Lethal Weapon', he's going to be to 'Rush Hour 3'. He'd
love to be in the movie!"
Please note that NO official information about a new single, short
film, or Michael playing a part in the upcoming Rush Hour film have
been released.

WHAT'S NEW?
* Recently several users have been going onto the EMJ Message Board
posting inappropriate and offensive messages and photographs. While
EMJ Staff moderate this message board on a regular basis to ban users
who are abusing the service and delete offensive messages, some of
the messages have sneaked through the cracks and were unseen by our
moderators for short periods of time.
Because it seems these people who've been posting inappropriate
graphics and messages on our website have infiltrated the entire
board (posting in many different threads spread around the Message
Board) our staff members decided to delete all messages from our
Message Board in an attempt to "start fresh". All individuals who
were posting offensive messages have been banned from the board, and
we will continue to moderate the board on a regular basis to ensure
that it continues to be a service where Michael Jackson fans of all
ages may visit and communicate with eachother in a free and safe
setting.
We regret to have offended any of our dedicated members with the fact
these comments and graphics were included on our Message Board, but
would like to reassure all that we have done what we can to ensure
that this type of thing will not continue on our Message Board.
In an effort to keep our website free of garbage and inappropriate
topics, we have also made some changes to the make-up of our message
board. From now on, no graphics, photos or personal ID logos will be
able to be posted on this Message Board, and anyone found posting any
offensive language or inappropriate topics will be immediately banned.
We sincerely hope that all of our members and regular Message Board
users will continue to visit our website and that this will not
discourage anyone who wishes to meet and discuss Michael Jackson by
using our website from doing so.
Thank you to all of our members who have brought this matter to our
attention as well as to those who have volunteered to moderate this
board for us. We continue to encourage anyone who has feedback about
our Message Board to send it to us at emjstaff@exclusivelymj.com
Your support is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
EMJ Staff
* The following message was sent to our staff from a woman at the
BBC. She is looking for fans who have been to Neverland Valley Ranch
to contact her. The specifics of the request are below:
Hi! I work at the BBC in Manchester, UK and am currently developing a
programme idea about fans befriending their idols. I am chasing up a
lead about a Michael Jackson fan who gained access to, and the right
to film inside, Neverland.
If you have any information about this specific fan, or in fact know
of any fan who has befriended Michael Jackson at any time, please
contact me at the above email address.
Thanks!

HEALING THE WORLD
Operation Christmas Child - Samaritan's Purse
* For the past four years, Exclusively Michael Jackson has been
dedicated in helping out Samaritan's Purse's 'Operation Christmas
Child' project. For four years many, many amazing MJ fans have
donated to this project by contributing a shoe box full of gifts for
children around the world, or by volunteering with our staff (or on
their own) in the OCC warehouses.
This year, we encourage all of our members and visitors to
participate in this incredible project, and help bring the gift of
happiness to a child who would otherwise do without this Christmas.
Operation Christmas Child, run by Samaritan's Purse, sends a message
of hope to children in desperate situations around the world through
gift-filled shoe boxes. This program provides an opportunity for
individuals of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on project
that reaches out to suffering children. In 2001, over 5 million shoe
boxes were collected worldwide and distributed to children in about
95 countries!
As with past years, EMJ Staff will be volunteering in the Operation
Christmas Child Western Canadian warehouse. We'd love to have members
from Calgary joining us! Please contact emjstaff@exclusivelymj.com
for more information.
EMJ will also be putting together boxes for this wonderful project.
If you can't contribute by making your own shoe box full of gifts, we
encourage you to send donations of money to us and we will put boxes
together and deliver them to the Calgary-based warehouse. We will
accept donations in any currency - please mark it in a note
for "Operation Christmas Child" and not a donation to EMJ!
Unfortunately we cannot accept credit card numbers or personal
cheques as a donation, money orders should be made out
to "Exclusively Michael Jackson" if you'd like to donate them to
helping us build boxes of gifts.
You can send donations to:
