Okay, I don't know who else might've seen BET Tonight with Ed Gordon last night, but his guest was the rapper Nelly.
Of course, as I expected, Ed brought up the whole MJ drama that has been in the news lately and asked Nelly what his take on what Mike has said about the industry.
Nelly had me going there for awhile, I was even smiling.......'cause he basically said that the racism was very evident in the music industry, especially at the 'top'!
Then he lost me by saying, why did it take Mike so long to start talking about this issue, why did'nt he say something back in the Thriller years. (Ed Gordon, backed that up by saying thats what alot of people have been saying to him)
My question here is, why are people so hung up on this? Does anyone here really think that if Michael had said anything about racism in the music business all those years ago that the response would have been different? HELL NO!
This is how I see it, the only reason people in the media and others are carrying on about this is simply because its MICHAEL JACKSON saying this! PERIOD!.......for Michael to have said this back in the 80's I believe the response would've been the same, people don't like to hear celebrities complain!
( no se muy bien como calificarlo... pero estoy de acuerdo con que si no lo dice mj el mundo ni se entera....)
