Weekly Roundup
The Adventura Mall in Miami was definitely the place to be for Michael
Jackson fans earlier this week because the fans were treated to a rare
glimpse of the King of Pop!
Mr. Jackson greeted fans that managed to get close enough as he made his
way though the gathering crowds. As always, he was happy to oblige his
fans by signing autographs.
The 'Thriller' stopped at some of his favorite shopping haunts, the Disney
Store and the Sharper Image.

Charles Koppelman, Mr. Jackson's Business Manager was privileged to listen
to a number of new songs. His enthusiastic response was "There are some
big hits a comin'!"
Michael recently started production on "new creative content" at the Hit
Factory in New York.

Chart pulse
Who says the 80's are over? How can that be when the King of the 80's is
still riding high in the Billboard Top 20 Catalog Chart? The King of
Pop's Golden Crown is still firmly on his head. "THRILLER" is at number
14 on Billboard's Pop Catalog Chart for the second week in a row.
"THRILLER" has now spent two hundred weeks on the Billboard charts. It is
obvious that people still know great music when they hear it.

THIS WEEK IN MUSIC HIStory.
One year ago, for the United States demonstrations, fan clubs from around
the world formed an organization called MJUnity to peacefully protest Sony
Music's treatment of Michael Jackson and the Invincible Project. On the
6th of July 2002, fans protested in front of 550 Madison Avenue-the
headquarters of Sony Music America in New York City. On that same day,
Michael Jackson attended a rally for Artists' Rights in Harlem with Rev.
Al Sharpton. Michael Jackson voiced his distaste of Music Industry
tactics and denounced then Sony Music Chairman Tommy Mottola as a racist.
