Michael Jackson will appear at both the American Music Awards and the Grammy Awards this year.
The King of Pop will attend the 29th American Music Awards on Wednesday, January 9th, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast live on ABC.
During the evening, Michael Jackson will receive the American Music Award Artist of the Century Award for his outstanding achievements as a solo artist.
A live performance of “Man In The Mirror” is also scheduled.

Michael Jackson is also expected to attend the 44th Grammy Awards on Wednesday, February 27, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast on CBS.
Since INVINCIBLE was released in October, it is not eligible for the Grammy Awards until next year. Michael Jackson has therefore only one nomination for “Best Male Pop Vocal Performance” with “You Rock My World.” The other nominees in this category are Craig David, Elton John, Brian McKnight and James Taylor.
As of this date, it is not confirmed whether Michael Jackson will perform a number live at the Grammy Awards.

Esta puede ser una jugada de crack, si esto fuera el ajedrez seria jaque mate...

Podria ser que la actuacion de los American Music Awards sea esa actuacion que MJ hizo en el concierto de Washington (como dicen Aaooww&White en otro tema). De esta manera Michael no actuaria "en persona" en los AMA's y asi tambien podria estar en los Grammy's, donde alli seguro que actuaria (y cantaria material nuevo).
