Poems

Do any of you have any poems to share with the rest of us?

I do here is mine

Dark Days

Dark nights have turned into dark days
For America once again.

All our tears have been in vain,
All those gone have left nothing but pain.

Our twins of steel
That once graced the sight of heaven,
Are no more,
America has now seen a different kind of war.

Wingless angels, honorable heroes,
Fall to their doom,
Though their lives may never again bloom
The words they shared
And the hope they gave
Will live forever in the minds of those they saved.

Our hearts have been broken
And of peace there is no token
All that is heard are tacit cries for justice
Then all is silent as retaliation againts violence.

All is at its end
You and I have lost
A family member...a friend.

But our sorrow we will mend
The world shall stand united once again.

Though our faith has turned into dust
Our hope remains and "In God we trust".

Hope you like it ;)

Hey Hey!
I have a recent poem, it's ok, but it's not like yours, like about America. But you said poems in general, so I'll put one.
Hope ya'll like it! (of course I'm talking about Michael)

ONE DAY

Sitting....Waiting
Standing....Looking
Lying....Dreaming
Only thoughts of you
Seem to invision my mind
When will this dream come true
When will I be with you?
Your there, so far away
Living your life from day to day
Not knowing who I am
But one day we shall meet
And walk along the cemented streets
Talking, laughing, and strolling along
In this I find no wrong
Just to be your friend
Hold hands and run along
I've waited for this day
"It'll never happen"
My friends would always say
My mind is in a different place
A whole new world way off in space
As I look into your eyes
I see joy, sadness, and helpless cries
How can I make it better?
Just tell me what to do
And you said to me
So silent and so sweet
"You've made my day complete....
just being here with you."

Like it???

Party time, now that is what I call a totally Butt kicking poem.

To say the least it reminded me of the happy version of "Stranger in Moscow". There is not one, but if there was this would be a MJ Dancer :urule:
