If our sources are correct Michael Jackson will say goodbye to the music industry and will continue as an independed artist. That doesn't mean he will not work with Sony in the near future, but he can also decide to work with others as well. That doesn't mean he will not release any new music... but he will do that on another level. Michael Jackson is sick and tired of the sharks in the music industry and wants to control his own life again. That's also the reason he cancelled agreements with many organizations, including Mama Concerts & Mystery. Michael released 9 albums, did 2 tours, released 3 new music home videos and made 1 special movie. He does not own Sony anything... no albums, no videos, no special releases and no money. Michael is free again... Sony wanted to keep Michael, but as Michael wanted to be free and to control his own life (again), Sony Music decided not to spend any more money on Jackson. That's a fact... not really nice if you know Jackson was Sony's biggest cash machine the past 2 decades (including CBS). The problem is that Michael has become a product for Sony, not a human beeing.
