Parece ser que Michael podria verse implicado en otro proceso judicial. Según el rumor, la familia Jackson habria estado reunida en Neverland junto a sus abogados para estudiar la posibilidad de emprender acciones legales contra Bashir porque algunas de las clausulas del contrato para la entrevista no han sido respectadas.

According to the agreement that Jackson had with Bashir, he (Jackson) was to approve the final cut and (details are still sketchy) Bashir either showed him the cut then doctored it later or never showed it to him at all before selling it to the networks. These are the grounds for the lawsuit. Jackson and the family were said to be DEVASTATED by the end result which he (Michael) indicates that things were left out and it was doctored in such a way that it badly tarnished his image. Feb sweeps are EXTREMELY important to the networks and the Primetime broadcast of the documentary garnered a whopping 27 million viewers.
