Saluting The Motown Legacy
On March 16th, the Grammy's will pay tribute to the timeless legacy of Motown Records, with a dinner and performance at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
Honouring one of the greatest African American-owned business ventures ever launched, 'Saluting The Motown Legacy' will include performances by classic Motown acts and contemporary Motown stars who are to be announced.
Launched in 1958 by Berry Gordy, Motown have produced some of the biggest names in music history, including the Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, The Temptations and Marvin Gaye…just to name a few.
