THE JACKSONS UNITY TOUR 2012 REVIEW
The Jacksons went on tour for the first time since their Victory tour with Michael back in 1983. I was there for their first opening show in Canada, and would like to share the great moments of the show in a small review for you all. For starters I think Jermaine did an amazing job taking over most of the lead vocals. Although they actually all shared lead vocals during the whole show. I was surprised at how smooth and rich Jackie's vocals are live especially at age 61 wow! I know he's actively recording so I guess I shouldn't really be surprised. Tito is a monster live on the guitar, certainly a King. People like Slash, and other new era guitarists should hail him as one of the greats in the industry. Marlon looked like he was having so much fun. & being that he and Michael got along since young, he really represented MJ to the fullest. There were tributes throughout the whole show. They didn't just do one five minute MJ montage, lets move on type thing. No! They actually did tributes through the whole show, and sung his songs (including those he did without his brothers during his solo career). For Pete's sake they even started busting MJ moves! But that should be a surprise for you all to see in person. I won't say what exact moves they did but I was certainly surprised/pleased. I couldn't help but see MJ in my head swaying, dancing, and commanding the crowd with the presence of his brothers. But sadly he is gone, yet never forgotten... The brothers had even the elderly jumping out of their seats with the music. People just wanted to bust dance moves all over and did. From young to old everyone was there. We all certainly had fun. & I thank the brothers for letting us see them in all of their greatness. Definitely a 10 out of 10 show to see. I walked away extremely pleased. Worth every penny I paid for, and trust me I traveled for hours to get there, and back. There were some handicapped children dressed in Michael Jackson's clothing (Billie Jean, and Arm band sequence jacket). They really made me realize how much they actually look at Michael Jackson as a hero. He represented the sick, and the dying. The one girl in a wheel chair looked as if she probably had cancer. It really caught my heart when I walked out and saw them taking pictures to remember the event. It's amazing to see Michael's memory, and love reach so many. They were so happy to have heard their favorite singers music. It was really touching to say the least.
