(2/6/03, 10 a.m. ET) -- You've heard about it and now's your chance to see the Living With Michael Jackson documentary for yourself.
The film airs Thursday night (February 6) at 8 p.m. ET as part of a two-hour edition of ABC's 20/20. In it, British journalist Martin Bashir gets up close and personal with the self-proclaimed "King Of Pop," asking him about child molestation allegations, plastic surgery, and the birth of his third child--who, according to Jackson, was taken from the hospital immediately following delivery, placenta and all.
Jackson confirms in the documentary, which was taped over an eight-month period, that yes, he has slept in the same bed with loads of children but only in a loving, platonic way, and yes, he veils his children to thwart would-be kidnappers. (Don't the veils make for better targets?)
Jackson also reveals that he loves shopping. The following is an excerpt from the documentary in which Bashir tags along with Jackson on a shopping spree.
JACKSON: I bought so much stuff here. Wait 'til you see the stuff I bought.
BASHIR: This is Michael Jackson's favorite shop in Las Vegas, with the luckiest manager in the world.
JACKSON: Bought these, bought this one, this one, this one. I bought this table, this chess set--isn't it beautiful, this set?
BASHIR: Your chess set in your library...
JACKSON: No, this one's bigger. This is bigger.
BASHIR: Wow. Oh, it's sold, look.
JACKSON: I bought this one, right?
BASHIR: Is this yours?
JACKSON: Yeah, that's the sold sign--means it's for me.
