Michael Back in the 70's
"Michael Jackson went back in time over the weekend - donning a bushy Afro wig and glittery disco duds to transform into the spitting image of himself during his Jackson Five days. The Gloved One played dress-up at a '70s-themed party Saturday night at Miami's Forge nightclub, in honor of owner Al Malnik's 70th birthday. "He looked like the old Michael Jackson from the Jackson Five" one guest told The Post. While he tapped his feet to the music, Jackson avoided taking center stage and performing any of his famed dance moves." - By BILL HOFFMANN - Taken from New York Post, May 19, 2003
That's Michael who launched invitations thanks to a recorded message on a VCD which was sent to all the guests:
"Hi, I'm Michael Jackson. I'd like to invite you to my good friend Al Malnik's 70's Disco bash at the Forge in Miami Beach, my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world! You're gonna have a great time!"
Thanks to "Michael Jackson Jr." for sharing.

Fans Actions
"As a fan you must have noticed the terrible lies about Michael Jackson that appear in the tabloid magazines and programmes frequently. Because of the media there are a lot of people who believe all those untrue stories. One thing to do about it is to not buy those tabloid magazines, but don't you want to do more? But you don't know what?
At the message board of mjnewsonline.com there has been a discussion about this topic and we have come up with a plan:
If every fan who gets this message will call in to a radiostation (or email, if possible) in their country or city on the same day, request
the same song and maybe even add a message to it, we can try to make a statement that we are against this whole tabloid press thing. This message could be: how much you are against the tabloids or you could explain about this (hopefully) worldwide action.
By this action we want to support Michael Jackson and fight the filthy tabloid press with their lies and twisted stories. With your help we can make this a worldwide action by fans to support Michael Jackson.
The details are:
Date: Saturday May 24th 2003
Song: They Don't Care About Us
Time: All day long
Message: (optional) whatever you want, but remember we are trying to fight the tabloids.
How: Calling, emailing, maybe even faxing radio stations in your country or city (as many times as you want. The more the better!).
We are trying to reach fans all over the world to ask them to participate in this action. With your help we can do this.
Please spread this message to as many fans you know, websites, messageboards, forums, place it on your own website or whatever way you can imagine to forward this.
Please participate in this. It doesn't take a lot of your time and you could really help Michael Jackson and maybe other celebrity's that are
terrorized by the tabloid press."

Movie Review going too far!
"Richard Roeper of the American syndicated movie review show, "Ebert & Roeper", had the audacity to claim in a review of Eddie Murphy's movie 'Daddy Day Care' on the May 10 edition that the producers were irresponsible for using the Jackson 5 song "ABC" because of, as he implied, Michael Jackson's tarnished image with children.
Richard Roeper's email address:
rroeper@suntimes.com
Fans can help explain to him that MJ has yet to be charged or convicted of anything to warrant the disrespect and slamming he received on his show." - Darnell

South Africa Fans Want the PHM in their country
"Please include this link in your next newsletter
http://www.sabc3.co.za/ to have subscribers request that the Home Videos be screened by this channel in South Africa. Apparently the channel (SABC3) is very obliging, all it needs is at least 20 requests to put serious action into place." - Joash

Fans Words
"Michael Jackson is my role model
He has succeeded in every field
Through all the hurt and pain
He is still here
Michael Jackson is my hero
He's touched my life in so many ways
Through the moves of his body,
the moans in his songs,
his caring spirit,
and infectious smile
My outlook at mankind has changed
An alter of appearance does not alter the man
He has taught me sensitivity
How to have a truly nurturing soul
He has taught me the power of love
How to turn ridicule into fuel
This man is so powerful
I've felt his vibes ............ miles away
I hurt when I hear the lies
But my hero is unbreakable
I hurt when I witness teasing
From his mouth to mine:
“If you can't say anything nice,
then don't say anything at all.”
I hurt that Michael Jackson has no help to
Heal the World
Our lonely childhoods mirror each other
Being forced to maturity unnaturally
And our love for little ones is uncanny
My anger bubbles up with the misconceptions
about little Prince, Paris, and Blanket
My question is: Why do you care?
care about his sensual voice
care about his dancing
care about his sold out world tours
or about the fans that keep wanting more
I ache with hurt at the thought that,
I will never see Michael Jackson live in concert
Because of the cruelty of the public
Michael Jackson is doubtful about doing what he does best
I want so much to have experienced
the magic of Michael Jackson
To see him and his brothers dance and slur the words:
“Blame It On the Boogie”
To watch him beg in “Lady In My Life”
To be caressed by Michael Jackson's
words, moves, and soft voice for the long intro of
“Dangerous”
I was born at the peak of his fame
A knot at the side of my head was the result of me
attempting to do the ‘lean dance’ from the music video
“Smooth Criminal” at the age of two
Even at that age, I was able to recognize that he was
The Man
He has gone through a lot of anguish and heartache
Through the years though, people turned their backs on him
But I welcomed him with open arms
I see an innocence, an unusual honesty in Michael Jackson
I do believe the public is threatened by him
That is why they ridicule
I want so badly to look him in the eyes
And say four simple words:
It will be okay.
Late at night when I wish upon stars,
I wish for both he and I
I wish as if he knew me
as if we associated
as if he was my friend
I wish for both our happiness
My wish to meet my hero may never come true
Loving from a far is the best that I can do
I'm no Billie Jean or Dirty Diana
Which means my encounter will be by chance
Because true things can't be forced
Through his constant sayings of “I love you all.”
I know he cares
His vow to care for every child in need
That comforts me
I know he loves
But he'll never know, I love him more
I just can't stop loving him."
