Spanish lessons please!!!

Ok, I don't know spanish but I know a few basic words. I am willing to learn. These are some of the words that I know (I hope I'm right).
si - yes
amigo, amiga - friend
adios - goodbye
agua - water
negro - black
todo mi amor eres tu - i just can't loving you

tonto=silly or stupid
asombroso=amazing
Feo= ugly

Ya que estamos con especificaciones... ;) aunque estos adjetivos se pueden aplicar a muchas más cosas pero tampoco es cuestión, se trata sólo de enseñarle lo básico.

Así lo aprendí porque así me lo enseñaron, incluso profesores ingleses.

Some nice things to say to somebody.
Is "sexy" the same like the word pretty or beautiful? And anything thats ends with "o" is for a man and "a" is for a woman?

No, sexy means atractive, or good looking style, pretty and beautiful are diferent.
And not always, many things in spanish ending in "o" and there isn't exclusive for men.( the same with the "a" ending)

Yo me quedo con esto que dijiste...las palabras del inglés se aplica su traducción en el cuando y el con que lo uses.

what's wrong? = ¿Qué ocurre?

Oi, sou brasileira e não posto no fórum por medo de errar mas entendo bastante o q vocês postam em espanhol, um amigo traduziu isso para eu postar mas não sei se está certo.

En el caso de hot es muy bueno que hayas aclarado que se refiere a temperatura, pero no cuando te sube la temperatura de otra forma :p en ese caso se dice que uno esta "horny" y no "hot" (por eso hay que tener mucho cuidado porque horny es puramente sexual)...

En el caso de what's wrong? tambien hay que aclarar que en inglès tiene un tono de preocupacion, pues cuando uno pregunta asi es porque es evidente que algo malo ha pasado...de otra manera se podria preguntar "what happened?" y no what's wrong?
