Keri Hilson nació en Atlanta hace 25 años y es, además, compositora y socia junto a Timbaland, Justin Timberlake y Danja de la compañía Mosley Music (vinculada a Universal Music). Cuando era una niña sus padres la inscribieron en una escuela de música y se graduó con matrícula de honor años después. Un viaje a Los Ángeles le cambió la vida cuando conoció a un tal Timothy Mosley "Timbaland".
Ha escrito temas para artistas como Jennifer López, The Pussycat Dolls, Mary J. Blige y Britney Spears. Desde hace un año prepara su primer disco como cantante, un disco que debía salir este mes de Marzo pero que se ha retrasado provisionalmente hasta Mayo por presiones de la todopoderosa Madonna. ¿Por qué? Porque en la producción de ambos discos trabajan exactamente los mismos productores, que son, curiosamente, amigos y socios de Keri Hilson; con lo cual el sonido del disco de Madonna no será tan "novedoso" si sale antes el de Keri. Además, el duet de Keri con Justin en "Headsprung" es muchísimo mejor que el que hace Madonna con él en "4 Minutes", y la Reina del Pop tiene ya 50 años y Keri está en plena juventud, algo que Madonna sabe que llamará tanta atención (o más) que la propia música.
Este disco suena como una mezcla entre Beyoncé y Nelly Furtado. Os dejo los ocho temas que se han filtrado del álbum:
