"I was in Boston on the road with the Jackson’s Triumph tour. I went to Micael’s hotel room around sunset and found him alone reading fairy tales. I asked if he was interested in making photographs in the magic light. He wanted to know what magic light was and followed me up to the roof. While I was shooting, he took off his shirt. Until that moment he had been an innocent child in my eyes. I now saw a man there too."
"Estuve en Boston en la carretera con la gira Triumph de los Jackson. Fui a la habitación del hotel de Michael cerca del atardecer y lo encontré solo leyendo cuentos de hadas. Le pregunté si estaba interesado en hacer fotografías a la luz mágica. Quería saber qué era la luz mágica y me siguió hasta el tejado. Mientras estaba disparando, se quitó la camisa. Hasta ese momento había sido un niño inocente a mis ojos. Ahora vi alli a un hombre también."
