Please explain how you believe the Code of Practice has been breached.*:
I think this article breach the Editor’s Code of Practice because it contains inaccurate, misleading and distorted information, and it also attacks an individual, who by the way, is not here to defend himself of a very serious and horrible crime of which he was already acquitted.
The article states that some “secret FBI files reveal Michael Jackson paid 23 millions of pounds buying the silence of at least two dozen of young boys he abused over 15 years” and that “the documents were not passed on to prosecution in the King of Pop’s 2005 trial”. I considere this article may breach the Editor’s Code of Practice.
The real FBI files on Michael Jackson were released in 2009, and as the FBI says on its facebook account,
FBI — Michael Jackson : “Michael Jackson (1958-2009) was a famous singer and entertainer. Between 1993 and 1994 and separately between 2004 and 2005, Jackson was investigated by California law enforcement agencies for possible child molestation. He was acquitted of all such charges. The FBI provided technical and investigative assistance to these agencies during the cases.”
The alleged FBI files mentioned by The Mirror come from a different source to the real FBI investigation on the singer as you could check in this other article:

Accuracy
i) The Press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information, including pictures.
ii) A significant inaccuracy, misleading statement or distortion once recognised must be corrected, promptly and with due prominence, and - where appropriate - an apology published. In cases involving the Commission, prominence should be agreed with the PCC in advance.
iii) The Press, whilst free to be partisan, must distinguish clearly between comment, conjecture and fact.
iv) A publication must report fairly and accurately the outcome of an action for defamation to which it has been a party, unless an agreed settlement states otherwise, or an agreed statement is published.
